Remember the time when you were small enough to lie on top of a newspaper and dive into a page full of comics?

The Small Picture was a full-page comic published every Wednesday byManta Ray Comics, in the smart and orange-in-just-the-right-places newspaper Mint. This was my first collaborative work with twisted scriptsmith Arjun Kolady, and my first contribution to this column. It was also the very first piece of its kind to appear in the newspaper—weekly graphic stories packed with thoughts, opinions, information dredged out of the backs and fronts and middles of the zeitgeist and our collective brains.

The Small Picture was best viewed in the printed paper edition of Mint, where it first appeared, every Wednesday. This piece, The Revolution will be Televised, was published on August 31, 2011.
