Hypertext was a long time in the works - several years soaking in the atmosphere redolent of coffee and cigarettes, alongside quick-filling and sumptuous South Indian breakfasts at the typical Bangalore darshini. And yes, the lingering, ever-hopeful street dog (in the case of Komala Refreshments - a lovely dark-eyed brown cow who pops in daily for a breakfast dosa) who gets crumbs, pats, biscuits, sometimes kicks from people eating there. There’s friends, familiar strangers, faraway communicators, the slow infusion of tech into a slow cup of coffee.
